how can it be humane. i am sure you wonder where i am going with this, hopefully i can get my thoughts out where you can understand them...
i watch on tv where they put dogs to sleep just because they put a plastic hand up to their face while they are eating and the dog bites it, or sometimes even if it growls at it... ok you take a starving dog, give it food and then try to take it away from it, what would you do if you were the dog?? they will put an animal down because it is hurt...
but yet, they will not put a human down when there is no hope for them, no life left in them, except to lay in a bed and stare at the ceiling.. if they can even see.. what type of life is it to lay there and not be able to move or communicate?? i have seen so many people where if i were them i would want to be dead.. but yet when the doctor helped the people die, he gets put in jail...
how is this any worse than murdering a dog, just because he growls.. most people are smart enough not to put their hands down in the bowl when a dog eats..
they nurse these dogs back from dying and then kill them because they growl... why wont they help people off into the next world by putting them down when their is no hope left??
i have looked into the eyes of so many that could not move nor speak, there are tears there and they just want to leave this world even if there is nothing left in the next world.. they just want to get the pain away...
why cant we humanely put them to sleep??
i dont call it humane to put a dog to sleep for growling.. perfectly HEALTHY dog.. they could put it in a home where there are people smart enough not to put their hands in its food bowl while it is eating..
humane is just one more letter than human....
i guess humane means to kill something perfectly healthy that is not human, but to let the humans suffer in their pain and misery... 
maybe if i ever get that way in my health i will either be in a rainbow land world or they will let dr kevorkian out.... 
anyone else have any thoughts on this??
