Last Thursday I graduated from my keyboarding class. it was suppose to be two semesters but the teacher said that I already finished both of them and that I don't have to go back in September. I'm so happy and elated.

Now I return to school in Sept. to take some computer courses. I need three computer courses so that I can finally take my accounting course. I am also looking into taking a business course. I want to start my own business, not sure in what yet but I know that I want to do that.

I finally accomplished part of my goal. It was a bit hard in the sense that I was away from my son a few hours every two days for a semester.

I was taking the classes at an adult school because its a lot cheaper than city college or a university. so i prefer to work harder a little longer and then transfer to a good college when I am ready and more able. I will get in contact with the city college to see if I can transfer my credits and classes to them and if they are going to be worth much once i transfer? If not then I will just take the classes directly from the city college. The good thing about city college is that they have a day care center in the college itself so that i can take the courses and still have somebody watching my sons when i can't get somebody else to do it.

I just had to tell everyone how happy I am. I think that by me accomplishing this and then finally reaching my goal it will show my son that no matter what situations life brings that you can still achieve your goals. This will prove to all the people that thought I had ruined my future and that I had no future just because I chose to keep my son at a young age. I am doing this mostly for me and my kids. I want the best for them and I am one of those people that like to do more and more once I finished something. I am going to take my education to the limit. My family does come first but in order for them to have what they need I need to be financially stable and I will get us to that place.
