Popcorn comes from Corn.....So yes it is a vegtable,however it is not the healthiest thing in the world, but dry(no butter) unsalted popcorn makes a good and healthier snack replacement to chips or cookies. You can also always buy a low salt spice to sprinkle on your popcorn for some added flavour! |

Popcorn is a vegetable, although I can not imagine haveing thanks giving turkey and popcorn. Wait, didn't Charlie Brown have popcorn for thanksgiving? |

Popcorn is made of corn and corn is classified as grains. Definition of grains: Grains are seeds of cereal plants such as wheat, rice, corn (maize), oats, rye and barley.
So popcorn is definitely not a vegetable!!!! |
