Posted by moresmart 2008-04-16 00:59:35 My greatest achievement... I help save a family. Mom, Dad and two preschool girls. We saw them one day in the rain walking and gave them a ride. It was raining hard. The man, Jerry, openly sobbed. My hasband paid for a hotel for them, we rounded up clothes, the next morning, We picked them up, I took Sara and the girls home with me and my husband took Jerry to work with him. He vouched for him and got him a job working construction. We found a cheap place to rent and paid the first month. That was 15 years ago. Jerry and Sara and the girls are still a daily part of our lives.
Posted by norm4u2 2008-04-16 07:11:35 My greatest achievement was getting my BA at 42 then packing my bags and moving to Asia where I teach English. I worked hard and long and finally got it. Not bad for an old fart like me.
