I am giving my wife the 'rock' she wants for Mother's day.
Lots of rocks actually,the patio,of course.
I have bought her lots of jewlery through the years. She used to wear it more, now, not so much.
I have wanted to buy her a large diamond, but she doesn't want one. She does like: tourmaline, the deep pink and the indicolite-blue, and she likes, precious topaz, champagne or pink champagne,and, moldavite,because it is from a meteor strike, alexandrite,fire opal, black opal, saw some beautiful specimens at quartzite last year. And,orange garnets, green garnets, montana sapphire,white mountain peridot,sleeping beauty turquoise,and just so many I can't list them all. We go to the gem and mineral shows, and I have gone rock hunting and collected all my life, starting with my dad as a kid.
Anyway, this years stone, honey, is gran-ite and silica.
This is one stone I can enjoy too.
