 Save Your Glass Jars
Save those pasta sauce jars and other glass jars.  I regulary save my jars for all sorts of things.  I take off the paper or sticker cover and wash in them in the dishwasher.  If the sticky stuff doesn't come off use some goo gone to remove the remains and wash again.

Uses:
Everybody loves those ceramic savings jugs that say things like "Vacation Fund," "My Boob Job Fund," "Rainy Day Fund" and etc.  You can use your jars to make your own with out the cost.

Piggy Banks for the kids.  Add felt ears, google eyes and etc to create the animal your kids will enjoy.

I keep two jars on top of the dryer labeled "Laundry Fairy Fund."  I collect the lose change (when Im lucky I get a few dollars) and put in the jars.  In a month I had 20 dollars in change!

You can also use the jars for gifts like cocoa mix, cookie mix etc.  Craftbits.com has a ton of recipes to be added to jars.

I sometimes buy lose herbs and a glass jar is great for that.

To add a hole to the lid I simply place the lid on a cutting board using a flat head screwdriver and hammer I carefully "punch" a hole in the lid.

Decorate them with decopage glue, paint, computer printed lables and etc.

Have Fun and God Bless You!

Thanks for all the good ideas. I am now inspired to make my own vacation jar.
