| Is it Possible to Drink too much Water? |
Yes, drinking too much water is definitely a possibility. This is called water intoxication. We are talking excessive amounts of water under normal circumstances. Too much water in our system causes the dilution of necessary electrolytes in our blood stream, which has implications to control the heart beat. Recommendations are to drink eight to twelve glasses of fluid with additional fluids from foods to help support exercise and hot climates.
Do not shy away from drinking the necessary water that your body needs. In the long run, your body will thank you.
