Hey, hey!
Okay, my very first blog on thoughts dot com!! How exciting! 
Alright, early Saturday morning (Jan. 5), I moved away from home for the first time, and up here to COLLEGIO!! 
I really freaked out the first day, but I'm doing much better now. I'm still super homesick, but I'm sure I'll be fine! My roommates are great!
That's us---I'm the one in the back, standing on my tippey-toes, trying to get in the picture! 
It was hard to squeeze everyone in! But here are the nicknames I'm giving all my roommates for this website: the redhead will be Heather, the blonde in the front will be Mattie, and the brunette (on the right) will be Aly. =] 
So those are my roomies! they're great!
Here's the dorm! 
Well---some of it. We're still trying to decorate so it looks more like home, but hey---we've only been here a week! 
Okay, so 1 is one side of our livingroom, 2 is the side that didn't fit in my camera in the first picture 
, 3 is our little kitchen, and 4 is the potty! Here's the pictures of my little area from a bunch

Not bad, huh? Haha, I quite like it anyway! I bought that big, round, yellow chair for like 40 bucks! Well it was originally red, but I had lots of cute extra material at home, so I made a cover for it. =] And my desk and dresser are fuzzy because I put rugs on them...fuzzy ones (duh) haha! Then on the walls, I put a bunch of my collages! I've been really into making collages from magazine clippings and stuff, lately, and they make a really good decoration! I love them! And then, of course, there's my lovely laptop, which I pretty much blew my entire college education fund on. 
haha. I thought I would have had enough money, but I didn't. LUCKILY, my parents are being great about everything, so 
they're helpin' me out this year. =]
It's pretty fun up here! Although it IS Idaho, so there isn't much to do. So we're creative. We painted our nails on one of the first nights up here. But, by the time I could dig out my camera, only me and Aly still had our nails 
painted, but here they are! And we plan on making a fort soon! 
Yep, it's pretty fun so far! It's not home or anything, but still way fun. It's so different, when you're on your own! There are so many more things to think about than when you're at home and mom and dad take care of those things (bills, taxes, utilities, etc). 
haha! But I'm sure I'll get the hang of it soon.
