Saturday morning at 11am, I called my idiot landlord and asked him to come and top up the electric and gas meters. When we signed the contract, we signed for a 6 month stay and our bills were included in the rent. He then said he was on his way over anyway to do exactly that.
9pm I returned home and meters still weren't topped up. By which time my boyfriend was agitated and called landlord. **** said he was on his way. He came, then moaned at me saying I could sort the meters out myself, I shouldn't have called him  - when it's blatantly agreed in the friggin contract, then started swearing at me about the woman upstairs. He went, then 10 minutes later phoned me to apologise. Is it because he knows I spoke to the estate agents that got us the property and I have had them sign something so the bailiffs won't take our stuff and I can now provide them with his current address?! Me wonders...

Before he was a nuisance, we had spent all day flat seaching. Viewed 4 properties, one was the perfect flat, except it wasnt in the perfect place for me workwise.My boyfriend sulked for over 3 hours when I said we couldn't get it. It was affordable, but for me to get to work each morning, I would have to walk up a hill that is a 40 minute stretch and then get the bus. Physically cannot get up any earlier than I already do. It's ok for him as he gets a lift to work and back.

I'm just hoping I will be out before the 23rd, as I don't want to pay any more rent
