I am not ashamed to say I cry more than the average person. I had reason to believe it could be down to my contraception pill, but as I still cry a lot I doubt it.
I cry at adverts, at sad films, I even want to cry sometimes from thinking about something sad I’ve heard or read. It is a trait about myself I would get rid of if I could, although I have noticed it happens more at periods where I haven’t had sleep.
I once went to Weston with Sophie for the weekend, broke up with my boyfriend down there, was that distraught I didn’t sleep and when I came back home it was raining, we were stranded at the coach station. Then an old lady dropped money on the floor and didn’t have the ability to reach down and pick it up – that set me off. I cried until someone finally picked us up from the coach station.
