I think he should dump you. All you do is moan. I think he should do the sweet things a boyfriend should, but if he isn't financially able to do so you should be helping him find a way to improve that. Also, he wants to be the man for you. I have to disagree. I detest London. As someone who lives 2 hours away I get sent there for work and i always hate how busy it is and how many people I see working, aren't even British! I'm all for people emigrating, but when you visit Britain, surely, you want to see a British person, not someone Polish who speaks in broken English? I haven't got anything against the Polish either, as my uncle is that nationality.

If I chose answer a, Id have saved a friend but most definitely get the death penalty if I lived in the States. Don't know what books or tv shows you've seen, but you would NOT just get a years imprisonment and I don't think that's what your friend would want

Unfortunately, kids are receiving more and more access to the internet because a lot of parents don't supervise. There was a thing on British tv about 2 girls that added themselves to myspace and as a result of them talking to some man on the internet that stalked their profiles, he was able to find out they were going to a theme park oneday and approach them. Parents need to be more leniant. I do think kids shouldn't actually use the internet unless its for homework. It just isn't safe.

For your prom, I agree with Ellie, gold jewellery is the way to go. Go with your gut instinct about this boy. If you think he is going with you to the prom just so see his friends, he isn't worth going with. He should want to go for you. Money isn't everything. If you really feel this strongly for him, you will wait til he is sorted out financially. I am sure he will appreciate all the advice you are going to give to him.
I know you need someone to support you and your son, but if you're already self sufficient, money really shouldn't be an issue. When me and my boyfriend first got together, he treated me like a princess, buying me flowers, taking me out, and now we live together, I don't want him to do that anymore. It's nice, and if he surprised me with it, I'd love him all the more, but what I most enjoy is his company, I know he'll be there no matter what and I don't need him to spoil me. Life is too short. As long as I'm with him, I don't need materialistic things.
