well my husband is wanting to buy a house, i did not think he would get approved for it.
the lending company called a few hours ago and she said she was pretty sure that she was getting him approved for the house. ($195,000) I dont know about everyone else but to me that is a huge amount of money. we have five kids, what if he gets hurt and cant work? (i am a student, I have no income) What if he gets laid off again? what if? what if?
i would love to buy a house for my children to always call home but this scares me so much.
the lending lady said she was sending it through to the underwriters and she should know something today or tomorrow.
maybe it wont go through.......so for now i am kinda flipping out about nothing but i feel sick to my stomach.
all i can think is the money. the house is bigger than this one so the bills will be higher, it is on 5 acres, we dont have a small tractor to brush hog it, so more expense there. the cost of moving. our lease here is not up until september what if the landlord wont let us out of the lease, we cant afford to make two payments for the next four months.............the list of worries is endless.
i am going to go lock myself in my room and pray that what ever god wants is what will happen, if he wants us to have the house we will get it, if he doesnt we wont. but i am sure gonna pray that if he wants us to have the house that he provides a way for us to afford it. |

The most important thing to remember is not to exceed 25-33% of your monthly take home income for your mortgage. Take your time and be sure to read all of the fine print-even at the closing table.
