| Hiking aimlessley through the bush/boys have cooti |
|
I don't know if anybody actually has read my first blog, but do (because otherwise you might not understand much about future posts) but I will explain the school that I am at right now to you: part leadership camp, part outward bound, part boarding school and part university.
Take today.
My group and I had an expedition preperation class all day, so basically we were hiking aimlessly for ages and ages with packs that way rougly a third of my weight. But then we like stopped halfway and learnt basic skills like how to cook on a methalated-spirits run stove and setting up a tent.
Let's get one thing straight. I am a city girl. When I walk, it's to the shopping centre. When I set up tents, well, I don't set up tents!
Also, I suffer terribly from flat feet. So right now my feet are absolutely killing me!
So anyway, walking aimlessly through the bush in the middle of summer in Australia, we came across two snakes. In the first twenty minutes. In long grass, with plenty of long grass still to come. How totally reasurring! All in all though, it was a pretty good day.
Another thing, yesteday I realized that boys have cooties.
Have you ever really liked somebody but then know that you cant tell them because then it would make things weird? And you know that they could never think of you more than a friend/sister?
Boys are screwed up.
I'm outtie!!
Thanks for reading
