| Lost I.D. Card |
Like any other college, Bridgewater has I.D. cards that are used to identify their students so they can access building or rooms, take attendance, and work as the meal card. Identification cards are a very essential item that every student should have with them at all times. I recently lost mine and have been trying for a few days to function without it and have discovered that it is rather impossible. I have to wait for my roommate to come down and let me in our dorm and sometimes getting into the dining hall proves to be somewhat of a problem.
Every time we need to replace an I.D. card there is a fee expect for the very first replacement which is free. I carefully thought about where I could have accidently left my card or misplaced it and I decided that before I went and got a new one the best idea would be to retrace my steps and see if I could stumble upon it. I went through all the stuff in my room with no luck and then moved on to my car without any luck there either. I even re-walked the route I took to class that day. It has been three days and I have finally decided that it is time to give up and go get a new one. I really don’t want to do this though for a few reasons. What if I lose one again and I am forced to pay the fee to replace it? Or the real concern; Will I find the old one after I replace it? I have a feeling that as soon as I replace my lost identification card I will either find the old one or someone will find it and give it to me. I guess I just need to give in and go get a new one.
