After I got home from the hospital, I blogged about a nurse I had met. She was the wonderful "angel" who told me of a waiver I could sign which gave me permission to go outside at my leisure to fire up a cigarette and smoke it.
Today, she found me again on my cafemom.com group. I'm a member of a few groups there, but I had the notion that she might belong to one group specifically "The Original Sick and Twisted Sisters. She didn't. I just knew that one of the women lives on the same Island that I do, I thought I recognized something in her spirit and I did. She signed up and came over to my homepage and found me. It totally made my day!
So, as my day has progressed, it began to snow outside. I love the snow. It makes everything look so pristine and virginal. One thing I've noticed in the early hours of snowfall is the quiet. Everything gets so quiet and peaceful as though something wonderful is about to happen. Then, something wonderful does. Every tree branch becomes a home for thousands of crystallized raindrops....enchanting.
You would think after all of that, that I would be in a glorious mood. Just the opposite is true. I am nit picky about the state of my environment. All I see if filth. I take care of our home almost exclusively. The husband takes out garbage and will run a load of clothes, stuff like that. Not that he's opposed to helping around the house, not at all. There are just so many chores that I do that no one else really notices. However, all I notice is that those jobs aren't done and they're driving me crazy. Mostly, because I can't do all that I want to do as I'm still recovering from surgery. So, why is it that when one unloads the dishwasher that same one doesn't load it up again? And wipe down the countertops, will ya, and clean up the microwave. Oh yadda, yadda, yadda. I apologize to my family whenever I get too awfully bitchy about it. I'll just have to take care of it when I'm on my feet again.

It's nice to meet people you see at certain places. I've never met any of my blog friends, and I'd like to keep it that way.
This will be my second winter here. I come from the tropics. I like the cold because it provides release for all my stress. Whenever I get stressed out, I take a nice cold walk and the stress freezes to death.

The snow or chores?
When the chores pile up...and no one will help...pick up a few snowballs and knock some sense into them.
hehe
I could not pick which one to comment on...so I combined them.
Pretty neat huh?
hahaha.
I have tons of snow in my front yard today.
Plenty of chores as well.
