I think my shower is plotting to kill me. I'm being 100% serious this time, it has a mind of it's own. Last night I turned on the shower and got in. I turned the dial in between H and C which is what I do every time and i got my hair wet. A couple seconds later the water was burning hot!! I mean completely scorching. I jumped to the very front of the shower under the water arc. After having my swearing fit and checking my skin for burns I turned the dial almost all the way to Cold. I tested the temperature and it was perfectly warm. So I got back under the water and started to wash my hair. As I was rinsing out shampoo the water went full blast and boiling hot again! I should probably get the shower checked out, it's a little scary.
Once I got out of the satanic shower, I looked at my hand only to found about 20 multicoloured lines. Eyeliner. I went to the M.A.C. counter earlier that day. For those that dont know MAC is a makeup kiosk. The women that work at this place literally wear masks. Some look like clowns and others look really good but you can tell that they spend a minimum of an hour on their makeup. Anyways I don't wear makeup everyday, only when I feel like dressing up or playing around with it. MAC is the best quality (in my opinion) so that's normally where I go. This time was a not so happy experience. The woman that greeted me at the counter had dark hair pulled severely back in a bun. Not a hair out of place. She had a creamy complexion (with the help of foundation, guaranteed) and dark, dark red lips. She smiled at me and I smiled back. She asked if I needed help with anything and I told her I was just looking. I tested a whole bunch of eyeliners on my hand. Nothing really appealed to me so I just bought some concealor that my mom wanted me to pick up for her. As I was leaving I picked up a light pink lipgloss and asked if I could test it. The MAC woman looked at me with utter sympathy and informed me that dark lips were in for Fall. I cocked an eyebrow and told her that was great but I don't like wearing dark colours on my lips. She looked as if I had just socked her one in the jaw. I quickly lied and told her that her lips looked great though. She still looked extremely offended and she sort of threw the tester into my hand. Usually the MAC women are very friendly but this one had a stick shoved up her...well you know. I gave her the benefit of the doubt that she was treating me this way because I had offended her and that she was normally a nice person. She quickly proved me wrong. Just before I left, I asked her about an eyeshadow called Rice Paper. My friend uses it and loves it and I just wanted to see what it looked like. The woman maliciously SMIRKED at me made a little "Hmph" noise as if I was a total imbecile. I told her not to bother herself and just walked away. She was so not worth the effort. The woman needs a lesson in customer service.
Wow, two depressing stories...there's gotta be something happy that happened. Hmm well I'm throwing a small party tomorrow. Should be a good time. I'm sure I'll have some stories for you lot after :] Oh! I forgot about this. A couple days ago I was messing around with my neighbours dog outside. He's a BIG golden retriever and he loves to play. He forgets how big he is sometimes though and plays a little too rough. I've learned that you have to stop wrestling with him before he gets to this stage. Anyway the other day I was just smothering him which he loves and all of a sudden he looks over his shoulder and there was a car on the road. Driving the car was a man with dark shades, a black hat and black coat. He was very slowly driving around the neighbourhood looking at the houses. All of a sudden the dog starts barking and growling and his haunches were raised. He is usually a very friendly dog but I guess for some reason he didn't like the man in the car. His snarls caught the man's attention and he quickly sped off. Suspicious behaviour, no? Who knows, he may have been a mobster or an undercover detective or something. Haha or just a curious realtor. I let my imagination run wild.
(If you read the above paragraph and didn't know I was talking about a dog, it may sound pretty dirty! haha)

Wooow for the shower, last thing you need is to get a burn while you're getting clean.
The lady at the counter! Hmmm what I would have done was kept bothering her, kept asking questions, make her show me a LOT of products, shades etc. Got her to sample it on her hand... especially if they work by commission. By the way thanks for explaining. I didn't know what the MAC counter was.
As for the golden retriever - they have a sixth sense, maybe you should let your imagination run wild, sounds like a good start to a story??
Have a great week-end. Very interesting post.

Buck: I wish! Trouble likes to follow me around though...Glad I could crack you up :]
Eeerm: Hmm I didn't think of that...maybe the washing machine was being used at the same time...Well you can't state that you have a story and not share it! Especially if it has to do with throwing liquids! Haha you are such a creep :]
Pixie: Hah maybe. It was scary though. I was afraid to pet the dog after his "episode" He was all snarly and evil looking and then once the car drove away he was back to his normal happy stupid self.

A creep?
Its not THAT kind of liquid!
No!
Back in junior school, we had the best teacher in the world becoz he let us use tipex.
Well one day, my tipex ran out so i aske to borrow his.
Me being sat at the back of the class, he didnt want to walk to my desk so he threw it to me.
When i had finished with it, i threw it back to him.
Of course, me being me, i hadnt screwed the lid on properly.
In mid-air, the lid came flying off and my teacher got covered in tipex, head to toe.
LMAO!

I just love Goldens. Did you read the Dean Koontz novel that had them in it? Great read.
I am scared of your shower.
That lady at the M.A.C. counter sounds like a real bitch. If people could just think I wouldn't want to be treated like that.
Let's hear about your party!

Evets: Of course you can, although I don't think I'm the one that made up the word :]
Eeerm: Haha! That's not what I was implying at all!! What's tipex?
Fancie: Goldens are lovely :] No I haven't read it, but I'll be sure to pick it up with recommendation! Good, I'm not the only one scared of my shower. And yes! She should have thought about how she wanted to be treated before she got all snotty with me! Haha my party was not very eventful. Just the usual shenanigans.

Your shower is creepy! Better get it checked!
As for that woman at M.A.C, don't bother. She really could learn a few lessons in customer care though.
And that guy driving around makes me suspicious...Or maybe I read too many suspense novels! :P

Tipex is a white paste type thing that you paint over a spelling mistake. Then you let it dry and you can write on it. Its to save loadsa messy scribbles.

Awesome story:) Though I would have left out the excessively evil comments. The shower is not trying to kill you. I assume you were home alone? If not, was anyone in the vacinity running the water? Or perhaps hot water had been used recently and the heater was off kilter. Anything is possible.
The MAC counter lady sounds HAWT!:P Right up my alley til you mentioned the stick up her crack. And, yea, Id prolly feel like snapping off at her too. One more button pushed and I might have done it.
The dog story sounds like a good story starter. If you have the time, get on that one:P Sounds like a movie.
PS Not a golden retriever fan. They are the big softies who friends have had and they always go mental or something sad.
