I was just thinking back on a very fond memory and a thought occured to me. What is it about bands that turn women on? Im pretty sure almost every woman has had a fantasy about dating a rocker. There is just something about a guy playing a guitar. I almost fell for a friend because he hypnotized me with his guitar. I swear, I had never thought about him as anything more than a friend and then as soon as he started playing his guitar (very well might I add) I was hooked. It was fucking scary. I was completely turned on. And the thing that gets me even more than the guitarist is none other than the drummer. Oh boy, do I ever have a weakness for drummers. Its a known fact, guys in bands are sexy. Yet Im still stumped as to why that is. Is it the visuals? The sound? The combination of the two? I have no idea, all I know is that even if I hate someone with all my heart, they start playing an instrument and I am all ears. The guitarist is usually the one that most women are drawn to. Is it because of the attention he gives to his guitar? Is it the rare connection he seems to have when it seems like there is nothing else on his mind except playing his guitar? I think women are mesmerized by the idea of being cared for and loved as much as the instrument. Oh how I do love my guys in bands. When guys play their instruments, it makes them more masculine. In a previous blog, I talked about my friend E and his intense amazing guitar skills. That was a scary night. I had to control myself from grabbing him as soon as he finished playing. He got my heart rate up just from watching him. I did not really have any intimate feelings for him before  but as soon as he played, well that was a different story. Its been a while since I've seen him play and what do you know, I only care for him as a friend. Apparently I get hypnotized by music. So to all you guys out there, join a band. Its not a myth, it gets the girls.
