| "Claire's Lips Like Morphine"

Keep my lingerie. I'm sure it looks better on her.
Claire slammed the door and quickly got into her car. She didn't want to think about Chris, she didn't want to think about the hickeys on his body and she sure as hell didn't want to think about the chick who made them. She knew that if she thought about it, she would completely break down. She had to focus on something else. She just wanted to drive. She put on her oversized sunglasses, blasted the radio and floored it. She didn't look back once. She was on the freeway. It wasn't busy at all and she took advantage of this. Her hands gripped the steering wheel, her jaw clenched, she only had one mission. To go as fast as possible. The window was open and her messy blonde hair was whipping around her shoulders. She rounded a corner at 120 feeling totally exhilirated when she saw the red and blue lights.
Oh shit!
She pulled over and fumbled in her purse for her licence. She glanced up in the rearview mirror to see the cop striding towards her car. She slammed her head back against the headrest and closed her eyes silently cursing herself for waking up today. Nothing had gone right. Her roomate was having tons of fun living life to its fullest, her boyfriend was cheating on her and now she was about to get a ticket...or was she? She looked down at her outfit, or lack there of. She was dressed in nothing more than Chris' sweater. It was black and went down to her mid thigh, showing off a lot of skin. the sleeves were very oversized and it looked like it was about to slip right off of her any second. She smiled at her self in the mirror, half thinking of what to say and half checking her makeup.
"Howdy ma'am, would you like to tell me why you were going 120 in an 80 zone?"
Claire looked up at the office in the window, took off her shades and smiled her sexiest. The officer looked like he was in his 30's and she noticed he wasn't wearing a ring. He had brown hair and matching eyes and she couldn't help but imagine that he looked rather nice under that uniform. The officer finally stopped scribbling on his pad and looked up at Claire. He did a double take and Claire knew she had him.
"120? Really?! Wow sir, I had no idea! I'm so very sorry. Is there anything I can do to prove it?"
Claire bit her lip hoping she looked innocent. The cop cleared his throat nervously and looked around him, noting that the road was empty.
"Ma'am, have you been drinking?"
Claire laughed and flashed another one of her winning smiles.
"What kinda girl do you take me for? I dont mind doing the tests though, I understand it's your job."
Claire opened the door and let one smooth bare leg slip out of the car. She climbed out of the car, shut the door and faced the officer. She watched him in amusement as he tried to keep his eyes on her face. The sunlight hit her skin, contrasting the fair colour with the stark black of the sweater. It was zipped enough that it covered her chest fully. One of the sleeves slipped off her shoulder and she "modestly" slid it back up only after she was certain he saw her bare skin.
"What do you want me to do first? I'll do whatever you say."
She was enjoying wacthing him struggle as he tried to figure out what he was supposed to say and processing what she just said at the same time. He stuttered a little and Claire smiled. She caught a few words in his muffled sentence. She figured he wanted her to walk in a straight line. She raised her head and walked forwards confidently towards him until she was a mere few inches from him. He was frozen on the spot afraid to move. Claire had him under her spell. She grabbed the top of her zipper and ever so slowly tugged down a tiny bit revealing a little bit of cleavage. She fanned herself and commented on the intense heat. The officer just nodded, totally dumbstruck. She leaned in even closer so she could make out the flecks of gold in his eyes.
"Anything else you need officer?"
She felt his body lean in ever so slightly. His breath was tickling her skin. Just as she was certain he was going to kiss her, he jumped back. He looked around nervously and grabbed his pen and pad. He rubbed his forehead looking utterly bewildered.
"Uh thank you ma'am but that's all. Uh you can leave now, there doesn't seem to be a problem here. Thank you for uh...cooperating."
Bingo. She smiled at him and strutted off feeling his eyes burning into her back. She slid into her car and started the engine. As she drove passed him she winked and laughed to herself as he pretended not to notice. She felt revived. This was exactly what she needed. It was so thrilling. She needed to break the rules. With Chris, she was always on best behaviour and look where it got her. She decided Sweet Claire was gone and Sassy Claire had the wheel now. She heard a chime in her purse and she reached for her cellphone.
Hey babe. Change of plans. Going clubbing tonight. Sound good?
Sound good? It sounded perfect! She quickly texted a reply to Jenna confirming the plan. What better than to have a wild night out with her fun-loving roomate? She stopped at the red light and and casually glanced over at the car next to her. Two guys stared back and smiled. She looked forwards as excitement shot through her. She was single now. Single didn't seem so bad. She glanced over at the guys again and flashed one of her killer smiles. The light turned green and she sped off watching them stare at her through her rear view mirror. She headed home with something to look forward to. Depressing thoughts of Chris and his whore were replaced with the anticipation of the night out and the blue minidress she bought last week. She just wanted to have some fun tonight. No rules, no restriction, no thoughts of Chris. She turned up the radio and "Wild Thing" came blaring out of the speakers.
How ironic.

Spectacular as always. I almost fell out of my chair from laughing so hard in the last half of the chapter. And now i am dying to read about what happens next. I can't wait until the next chapter! :]
