 Eureka moments
It came to me suddenly tonite while I was sewing the dots onto the last and 12th ladybird. Like a bolt out of the blue, one of those Eureka bathtub moments.
Grabbed a piece of paper and jotted down the idea. It's actually Tim's idea, but I could never figure out how it could be created until then. And bingo there it was in the middle of a mindless moment on the 59th sewn dot.
I was so excited about it, in the midst of the Eureka glow I raced upstairs to tell the other half and to share the moment.
He just so happened to be on the toilet. "Ya what"
"You remember Tims idea don't you, I figured it out"
"Tim's what?"
" I've got it, how to make it work"
"What idea?"
"Tims idea, you remember"
(silence apart from the tinkle in the pan)
"For chrissakes, hurry up, I've got it figured out how to do it"
takes forever for the zip up wash and shuffle - a lifetime passes. Dinosaurs are born and become extinct in the duration.

And yes, after he had organised himself, there's a bit of a smile coming over the dial, the male engineering side of the brain kicks in and he can see it as well.
The bathtub overfloweth with brainwaves.
And we chuckle over the potential amusement.
I can't wait to tell Tim.
