Need to have goals that matter, goals that I can look at to keep me focused on the road ahead. While waiting for my oil change on my car, I started writing, kind of a stream of consciousness approach. These are some of my goals:
• Feel in control of food
• Get off of diabetes meds
• Get off of all meds
• Climb flight of stairs without being out of breath
• Not be the biggest woman in the group
• Fit in an airplane without seat belt extender
• Fit in a booth without having to size it up first
• Buy normal sized clothes
• Fit in a Harley Leather jacket off of the rack
• Not care whether I eat or not
• Wear a belt
• Fit in jeans without looking like Humpty Dumpty
• Not be the fattest person in my family (although my siblings might be catching up if they’re not careful!)
• Have Max feel proud of me
• Better sex!
• Not be afraid to scuba dive
• Reach all body parts with ease
• Be able to put on my socks without getting out of breath
• Be able to see my feet!
• Be comfortable
• Feel strong
• Be a role model
• Get below 200 lbs.
• Get below 150 lbs
• See and feel my muscles
• See a bone or two
• Look and feel fit and healthy
• Feel excited about exercise
• Feel successful
• Amaze someone
• AMAZE MYSELF
• Walk with max in cancer walk
• Wear cute clothes
• See my lap
• Cross my legs
• Wear heels again
• Have my boobs be the furthest thing sticking out!
• Not be the fattest person at work
• Range of motion
• Not have my tummy hit the steering wheel
• Daintily rest my hands in my lap instead of clutching them in front of my belly!
