So I'm a newbie at this, but I'm in a new town, away from everyone I know and I feel the need to talk, so I suppose this will do. Actually, I've been seeing this guy, John, but now I think he's ignoring me. It really sucks. I was engaged almost a year ago, but as the "was" suggests, we broke up. So I've been seeing John. But I think I messed it up b/c after I saw him last Friday & he said he'd call me, but by Tuesday he still hadn't called. I thought he was blowing me off. I took him off of my facebook and Myspace accounts and that night, when I got home he had written to me on my AIM and said that he'd been in Pikeville, KY and had no reception, that's why he hadn't called. Well, of course, I felt like an idiot and apologized profusely, but he still hasn't called me...I mean, I was really upset, b/c I thought that another great guy was ignoring me and just blowing me off, when it turns out it was just a miscommunication. I feel so shitty. I really wish he'd just call me, but I can't make him do that, so I guess I'll sit here and wait. Boo!

I agree it's not the worst situation a person can be in, but I hate the waiting and not knowing what is going on. I love being on my own, but at the same time I would also like to find someone to spend some of my spare time with. That's not asking a lot is it? Plus I think it's weird that this guy still hasn't called me. I really thought we hit it off. I guess if he can't get over a little miscommunication, it's his loss though.
