Hi there,

I saw your comment and wanted to comment on it. I am a single mother of 3 girls and I tell them all the time to slow down and take things seriously. My daughter and I watch Life of The American Teenager and Sundays episode was about Grace and her boyfriend and having sex and thinking that she was ready, I couldn't help but notice her face afterward, she seemed disappointed, like that was the big deal, that is what it was really all about, big deal. I know they are actors and they are paid to act but it seemed so real.

Now that I have been back in the dating world, most of the men I have met seem to want sex so fast and to soon. They never want to get to know a girl any more and they feel that is a form of getting to know them. I feel like a car at times, wanna take me on a test spin and if I turn the corners or kick my tires and do good, then they might want me, but since I do not "put out" at all, I never see them again, they never call again. So is that dating has now become?

These are very good and valid points. As something of a respecter of Women and their ways I completely agree. The media and TV have a huge part to play not only in convincing someone their ready or turning them away (often the first). Also in reference to your second item, things aren't like they used to be. I think personally its the previous women they meet which 'Put out' way too early that change them. Not to mention the meida/tv screwing them up again by brain washing them into thinking that having sex is a plead of strength and a woman that doesn't 'put out' is no woman of theirs.

Its really disgraceful
