| Strawberries grow in hell.

There are so many different ways that the afterlife is construed by numerous religions that it's near impossible for me to keep up with them, or decide which one is the ideal afterlife for me. I guess that's why I'm agnostic. Apparently following one rule set will send your incredible viking soul to Valhalla, and a different set will send you to a place where you can lay around with lions to your hearts content. It's far to much confusion.
The afterlife seems to be the worst sort of punishment or reward system, if you consider it in terms of time spent to achieve the location your spirit ends up. It is an unfair judgement, humans as a whole are allowed, between sixty, to eighty years to mature learn lessons, grow, accept whatever deity. Failing to comply in this short period of time will equivicate to spending eternity in punishment. The ratio of doing bad, to punishment, is horrible. As is the ratio of pretending to be good, to reward. I propose a new afterlife, a better afterlife, but since I can't really lobby congress about it. I'll lay it out here.
The first thing to go would have to be all this laying around in eternal bliss. Pigs have seven minute orgasms, and pretty much spend most of their time laying around. Considering life span and the amount they have sex, I assume the heaven most frequently promised to people is laying around like pigs, and doing nothing but being blissful. Far too boring. I demand a large quantity of resources, say, for example, my own plot of land, with all sorts of different climates, and such. Rolling forests, cold clear mountains, tropical beaches, cold beaches, rocks, animals, other people within reach to chat with when I'm tired of building my house. Trade wouldn't be necessary due to everyone already being set with what was necessary to them, however work would be abundant. No just looking at an empty plot and a house magically appearing. I have eternity, I'll build my own house thank you very much. Not needing to eat doesn't necessarily mean that I don't want to grow a garden, gather spices, and cook delcious meals. I don't understand why everyone seems to think that they'd be content to lounge around for eternity, I can barely lounge around for a day without being outright bored. Speaking of bored, this wasn't a very interesting topic.
