If you couldn't tell from the title this is my first blog ever. I'm not really familiar with blogs and don't really have anything super special to talk about but I thought blogging could help me in some way.
I started a diet last week and I've lost six pounds so far. I have attempted dieting many times in the past and everytime I somehow ended up quitting. I really want to succeed this time and I figured writing a blog would give me something to do, and that it would keep my mind off of snacking.
If anybody actually reads this I have a question for you: Do you have any suggestions or tips on how to stay focused on a diet?

Hey, lil fire rabbit, I can only offer you this suggestion...forget the diet system. Diets seem better fit for certain aspects of the body...eat less sugars for this, eat less processed foods for that, eat more protein for something else. Diets aimed at losing or controlling weight seem "foobarred." There are more people complaining they can't keep it up than anything. Why do you think companies harvest on this with products like "Lean Cuisine" and those Jarod Subway ads? It's like "eat us cuz we are SO low in fat...but we don't tell you that all the preservatives/sodium is bad for you too." From your pic, you don't look too fat...maybe yer just feeling chubby? Eat alot of snack foods? Twinkies/cupcakes? Frozen foods? Any other symptoms like hair falling out, facial hair or poor circulation? My sis eats alot of sugar and marshmellows. I tell her I bet if I lick her leg it will taste like marshmellow. My mom tells her to cut out so much...it only stresses her into eating more to retaliate. The best thing I can do--as I tend to eat the not so good foods as either rations or snacks mid-day but also walk alot--is balance food and exercise/activity. Most definitely, if you find yourself on your butt more than your feet and are eating a large amount of sodium, sugar or fat...yer in danger of putting on pounds and cutting off circulation. Keep circulation up and you save yourself alot of troubles. Your a pretty high energy person anyway, so you probably burn through the calories okay. Just get a lil more cardio in yer week.

hey there! yay for you having a blog... i'm eventually going to get around to setting up my blog and actually using it!
I really don't think you're all that big - I just think if you can get some more exercise, if you can find something you like to do, I pretty much just do a bunch of a walking around with a heavy backpack lately, and that seems to keep me in okay shape.
