 Love: A splendid thing
I told you I have no life ^L^ Okay, so down to business. I made a survey (my very first one) on the opinion of love. I decided to explain more on why I think love is such a necessity.

I've always believed in love. Even when I thought nobody but my mom and Granny would ever love me, I still believed that if I searched hard enough, I would find it in someone else. That someone else besides family could love me for me. I'm not perfect, god, far from it. I'm one of the most stubbornist (is that a word?) people you'll ever meet. Once an idea is set in my head, there's nothing you can do from stopping me from believing it. I'm a picky eater: meaning I hate popcorn, watermelon, sweet potato pie, oranges, bananas, cherries, any kind of fish. I mean, there's so much more. I rarely talk, so the only way to get to know me is either reading my diary or reading this blog.

So, I believe there is someone out there that could love me for me. With all my faults.

If someone came to me on the street and said, what do you think about love, I'd say this: Love is a necessity. We all search for it. We all need some form of it to live peacefully, from family, friends, or boyfriend/girlfriend. It kills if we can't find it...especially when we're craving for it. But it brings us absolute joy when we realize how much other people love you. How much you mean to other people.

I've researched a little about the Bohemian Revolution (ever since seeing Moulin Rouge!) and I've realized that I believe in a lot of that. I'm almost a true Bohemian. I believe in truth, beauty, freedom, but above all...Love.

Lexi signing out.

What is love beyond a human to human experience for you? You make reference to the Bohemians and yet you have left out love of arts, and most importantly of existence itself. Can not one satiate their need for love by simply existing?

You make a great point viewfromsomewhere. I agree with you. I looked a little on the Bohemians, but not enough to completely understand it. Thank you for the comment and giving me more information about them. I greatly appreciate it. And, I do love the arts. The art form of writing, sculpture, architecture, drawing...art of music. There are so many forms of art. hehe Thanks

Thank you for the comment GnR. I understand what you're saying. You mean that in order for someone to love me for me, I have to love myself. Yes? I hope that's what you mean. If not, then you are right in thinking that it's hard to comprehend. ^_^
