So as the title to this post says…welcome to my world…I’m Siân and I guess I am your host...
To introduce myself…
I guess I am of average height (everyone I know seems way taller though)…I am overweight…overworked…underpaid…and on the whole am truly unexceptional really…in terms of job...I work as an admin officer within the Rural Payments Agency (yes it is as dull as it sounds)...my previous calling in life was as a (much better paid) teacher (also way more harassed)…
Life isn’t too bad on the whole…I live about 10 miles from the city centre of Britain’s second city (Birmingham) where I am within easy reach of a number of good friends, girlfriend…and where me and my dog live in a small yet perfectly formed house stuffing our faces on Haribo and other naughty (but oh so good tasting little treats)…
I blog mainly because I suffer from depression and anxiety….writing about life instead of worsening things by making me look at how crap things are actually helps…
Some days I rant…it’s not pretty but I apologise in advance…other days I am quite positive and upbeat…(in fact to the extent that my girly told me I was a bit too energetic and entertaining…)
So that’s me…no doubt you will learn more about me and become gradually more and more terrified by my insanity and my preachy moments but hopefully we’ll get on just fine!
