Today was relatively uneventful. I'm taking friday off from work, in part b/c I'm off on the following monday for MLK day, but also b/c g/f and I are having a party on Thursday night. Something tells me that after partying and karaoking til the break of day will make me not want to get up on Friday morning. I'm really looking forward to the party. I travel at least once a year for vacation and in 2006 I went to Thailand. It has to be one of the best trips I've ever taken. It was relaxing, exciting, beautiful, and many more adjectives. One thing that I wanted to bring back but could not was the beer. I don't recall the beer tasting unbelievably fantastic, but anything tastes good when life is good. I had given up on finding it here in the US, but after a trip to the new local Asian Super grocery store, I discovered that it was indeed at my fingertips. So I bought 2 six-packs of Beer Chang, my favorite beer from Thailand. I'm looking forward to drinking it now. I had one the other night and it was delicious.
I think I'm about to re-kindle my love affair with reading, after a long sebaticle. I just found two books that I want to read: "I am that" (an eastern philosophy book) and "On the Road" by Jack Kerouack (sp?) (a modern classic). I'm excited to get back into reading. My mind has been clouded by too many things over the past few months. |

That's cool you want to start reading again! I too have done the same thing recently. I'm reading "No Rest for The Witches" wich is actually a romance *gag* but it's pretty funny. I reccomend reading "The Encyclopedia of Serial Killers" (your basic guide to homicidal maniacs), "The Necronomicon" (yup, the 'evil' book, I find it intriguing {sp?}), and "The Books of Blood" series (I can't for the life of me remember the authors' name, just google it, I suppose.)
And May your mind become unclouded! (I hate it when mine does that.) :)
Guten Tag!
