people are racist b/c they are ignorant and want to blame something on somebody

In my opinion they are usually bought up in a household/friends who are racists, so it continues. They usually have not spent time with other nationalities/cultures and the unknown/differences scares alot of people. I also feel racist people are usually one dimensional in their thinking and the way they proccess information. The absolutely biggest reason by far, is fear. If you could get the most horrendous case of a racist put him/her with another which they class as there most hated race and leave them alone for a week where they had to survive to live. After a week they would be working together for survival and the racist would know there is nothing to fear. It's all about time being spent with one another with no outside influence. I actually feel sorry for them as they are missing out on so much. Love Baby Jane

i have a bunch of friends who are rednecks. they're rascist, but to a point they still have a couple black friends. they have pins saying "it's herritage not hate" as in saying that that is how they were raised to be. some kids are brought up racist and really don't know any better, so i don't blame any racist children, teenagers on the other hand are a lot closer to being fully developed mentally. they know right from wrong, and often times they're defiant from what their parants tell them, anyway, so why say "this is how i was raised?" and adults have no excuse whatsoever, unless that is you have some condition where you are not able to make your own discisions, in which case, how are you living anyway? anyway, i guess what i'm saying here is that i think everyone is rascist to a point. we all have our favorites and such, but i'm not rascist twards any race, i'm only rascist twards ghetto niggers. (excuse me for my language, and yeah, sorry, a white person just called you a nigger) but what i'm trying to say is for me, it's not skin color, it's how you act, and i know "ghetto" is like a herritage for most black people, but i'm sorry thats the one thing i don't like. nothing against black people in general either. i don't like ghetto white people either, i actually dislike them more, they're trying to be something that they're not. this is a long reply, so if you wanna hear any more of my opinion just write me!

People simply fear what they do not know or understand. For some people,it is a learned behavior and for other people it is a result from a personal trauma in their life involving someone of a different race than themselves. Others are plain ignorant,uneducated,and do not practice simple love and compassion for the human race. If a black person and a white person are tied upside down to a tree,split open like a deer and skinned,do they both not look identical? When people's skin is removed along with their color,we all look alike. No one is better than anyone else on this earth. We all have to eat,bathe,sleep and wipe our asses. We all bleed the same color blood when cut. We all have the same emotions when upset and or angered. There will be racial people for as long as this earth is still standing along with all of the sins that is on this earth.
