 The Anchor of my soul
The past several days I spent  in a remote place alone with Jesus. With no distractions, no computer or Internet, and almost no phone service, it was heavenly to say the least. I dove into His word reading several books in the Old testament and the book of John in the New testement. I felt my spirit filling up with divine treasures and mysteries in His word.   Plus,  just being able to walk and talk with Jesus under the canopy of His creation was just what I needed and I am so grateful for the time away.
While there, I had a dream that alerted me to another shift coming and it does not sound like a happy shift either. But whether on the mountain top, or here in the valley below, I know that I can trust that the Shepherd of my soul is in control. So I will continue to meditate on the Word, and keep my eyes on Jesus, while in the midst of the unseen storm that is brewing.  I will cling to the faithful God who loves me, and trust that He will be the anchor of my soul no matter what comes next.
Bless you all!.

Psalm 119
11 I have hidden your word in my heart
that I might not sin against you.
12 Praise be to you, O LORD ;
teach me your decrees.
13 With my lips I recount
all the laws that come from your mouth.
14 I rejoice in following your statutes
as one rejoices in great riches.
15 I meditate on your precepts
and consider your ways.
16 I delight in your decrees;
I will not neglect your word.

Bless you Sheryl
It is wonderful to just down tools as say "Lord here I am" as you say; let Him be the Shepherd of our souls Glory!
God Bless

A gentle, yet uplifting post Sheryl. I found His peace as I read it. His peace has escaped me the past few days, as I have felt irritable and impatient. Perhaps, much of that is attributed to working outside in the heat weeding and breathing dust. If there is dust, it means the waters from heaven haven't fallen for a few days, and I have forgone my runs at the wash due to the heat. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I exhale in serenity. Keep on writing His sweet breath. You are a blessing.
