Hello Everyone,
I've been me meditating on pearls. I had the revelation that our heart is like a treasure chest full of precious pearls. Just like pearls are created from becoming an irritant in the oyster and then made into a pearl, so the irritants in our heart can become beautful pearls too. That is if we allow the Holy Spirit to wrap the irritant called pain, suffering, and disappointment in his love, grace, glory,and healing balm. I pray that God will take the pain of all the hurting people and create precious pearls in each one of us.
It is sweet to me that right after God led me to meditate on pearls of the heart, a friend who knew nothing about my pearl adventure, gave me 2 genuine pearl rings. I think it was just God's way of kissing my heart for embracing this ongoing, seemingly never ending, desert. I am a weak vessel but He is so strong. I have far more questions than answers about my future right now. My poem says the rest of what I want to say about precious pearls.
Salt water dripped like ocean tears
from my face for many years
the price has been paid
and pearls are being made
not to be cast out or trampled on
only treasured and shared for the glory of God's Son
and someday we'll find the greatest hidden treasure through the pearly gates
and Heaven will sing a song at this long awaited fate
Matthew 13:44 The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field.
45"Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls. 46When he found one of great value, he went away and sold everything he had and bought it.
