I fought for two years with WC and three years with Social Security. WC claimed that there has NEVER been a case of carpal tunnel syndrome being caused by any form of work (so, why have they paid tens of millions of dollars in settlements for carpal tunnel?). They put me on a medication that warned of the severe dangers associated with sudden stoppage of the drug. Then, they refused to refill the Rx. My blood pressure climbed to 236/111, and the next day I was blind in my right eye (almost four years later, I'm still blind in my right eye). It appears that there will never be a day when I can return to working again. If I had to do it all over again, I'd NEVER work for someone else - I'd sell drugs and guns, tax free!

Yes I have been turned down by workers comp, but in the end I went to court and won my case. The sad thing was--- that after all the fighting I had to do to get my benefit I finally got healed and when I was able to return to work they fired me. Now being that I was working in a right to work state I had no way of winning a lawsuit of that nature and I had to find myself another job. So watch what yo wish for.

I wish you both the best in your health. Im sorry things did not go well with your wc and sss. I hope and pray though things will go well for me. But all we can do is wait and see. Huggs to all and thanks sherry
