| The Stupidity of Parents....

The stupidity of parents amazes me. I just returned from the high school where I dropped off my son who is now 17. We live in a very rural place..on a long curvy road that leads to no mans land. On our road there are probably 8 houses/mobile homes. This morning on my return trip, I was turning into our county road, when I spot a beautiful little girl, probably 5 years old running towards me. Big smile on her face, no doubt going to catch the bus to take her to school. When I drove on around the curve I noticed her brother, probably 8 years old walking along towards her. I really wanted to pull into the driveway..knock on the door and ask this stupid mother..What the hell are you thinking??? Your beautiful, blonde headed baby is a target..an opportunity for some lunatic to pick up and drive off with. Amber alerts can not save her..when her mother is an idiot. YIKES!!!
This is the same litle girl I once found playing at the end of the road when she was about 3. That time I wanted to put her in my car..take her to my home and keep her. At least till the police came to find her happily playing with me. I testified in court against this couple for their neglect of their children to no avail. We do not live in a society where you can let your child skip out the door and down the road. Get your lazy ass up and walk her to the bus stop, or better yet..drive her the three miles over to the school.

I can't believe that mother. You're 100% right. We don't live in a safe society anymore and there's trouble at every corner. Kids need to be taken care of.

I agree with you...some people are just too damn lazy to be responsible. Hopefully, this woman will not have to learn her lesson at the expense of her children.

I have long believed that humans should have to pass some sort of parenting IQ test before being issued a permit to breed. I've seen some gene pools that should seriously be extinguished before someone gets hurt!

That's so scary! Gives me the heebee-jeebies just reading it..knowing how as a mom, I'm constantly keeping my kid in my sight.I've seen too many TV shows...horrible nightmarish things!
Let's hope and pray their guardian angels are protecting them. Poor things.

You know, its funny that you have to be 18 to vote, 21 to drink, have a license to drive but there is NO controls on who can have kids. Some people just need to keep their legs shut. I wonder whats wrong with our generation and society today?
