In the last few months I have lost 30lbs. I think I lost 10 in each breast because people, they are gone. Sad day! So I make a trip to Walmart, home of 10,000 bras. All shapes and sizes and pretty colors. My first thought on entering the bra section, and mind you I don't visit this section, ever..was holy mother of God, Who wears these king size bras? They have bras in there big enough to be worn as motorcycle helmets, big enough for a child to sleep in or at least big enough to crawl up into and get warm and cozy. Who has boobs this big? They had hundreds of mammoth bras, and in pretty colors like lemon yellow, lime green and apricot. Cool colors.. I knew this was not my size(never was, before my weight loss, I was a nice c ).
So I creeped on through to the normal everyday Josey bra section. It was a humbling experience to say the least. You know playtex makes barely b, barely c, size bras and they are sexy and cute..so I grabbed the barely b, since I am sure I will never get close to a c again(without help from a surgeon). I found about 30 bras of different styles and colors for a little variety. Tried all of these on, and folks let me tell you, it was NOT pretty. They were either too tight(I am 38/40 inches around) with a cup size of barely a b. Well not one bra in that store fit me. Sad day!! They were either too tight, or puckered in the cup making it look like someone moved out of them. I was totally disgusted and upset by the time I left the store.
For the record I have an awesome body(less the boobs). I wear a size 6-8 depending on the cut of the clothes. I have a tight stomach, nice butt and am proud of my weight loss. I am however slightly devastated at the loss of my boobs, and this trip to Walmart was no help. I will however live through that devastation and shop elsewhere where they cater to the boobless freaks like me. Maybe somewhere out there is a size 38-40 barely b bra just waiting for me. Ahh the shame.
