As most of you know I own a home child care center. I have 7 little boys and girls come and spend the day with me from 7:30-5:00, Mon-Fri. All of these children are unique and special in their very own ways and I love them all. I have had the daycare for over 24 years and I have had hundreds of little children come through my doors.
 
I have this one little boy who has just turned 3. He is adopted by two parents who deperately wanted a child but could not conceive, for whatever reasons. They love him to pieces and he is just precious.. He is however unique in some of his habits and some of the things he does. He is obsessed with balls of any kind..baseballs, basketballs and especially just big, bouncy balls.  He repeats phrases over and over and over again..It is just who he is.  Well we just potty trained him and had him doing well on pooping in the potty..and not in his pants..yuck!

Well as children sometimes do he has reverted back to pooping in his underwear..did I mention yuck?  His parents are just devastated, as am I because for three days in a row at daycare he has pooped his pants. Last night in an effort to curtail this behavior the little boys father told him..if he pooped his pants again..he could no longer play with his assortment of balls(baseballs, basketballs etc).

The family made a trip to Kmart for some supplies. The little boy passed the ball crate filled with balls and in a loud voice that only a three year old could muster he said: " Mommy I won't poop in my pants ever again.. I don't want to lose my balls"!!!! All the people around them gasped and looked at his parents as if.. HOW DARE YOU SCARE THAT CHILD LIKE THAT??? She literally crawled out of that store..Ha!!

Kids say the darndest things..OH DEAR!!
