Well it is another FRIDAY!!! I love Friday's and the thought of a nice weekend. yum..Hubby and I have not been on the same page this week at all. We have totally different parenting styles and that causes us problems. We have a teenage son who is trying to seperate from us and because his dad and he have always been so close, this causes a problem. Couple that with the wrong crowd of friends, and trouble is brewing. He is a good boy, just a little mouthy..you know teenage angst. This I can handle, but not his dad. Thus the problems. Oh well. We will get back on track soon.
Daughter is very sick with the flu(and at college). She called for sympathy and advice last night. Of course, from here I couldn't do anything to help her, hard for a mom. We talked an hour and had some laughs..I think she may have felt better afterwards. We have a totally unique relationship and meet each other on a higher level of understanding than most people ever accomplish. I love that! She will come home today to see the doctor and I will feed her chicken soup and soothe what ails her.
Hope you all have a great day today and a wonderful weekend. Tell someone you love them today. Surprise somebody with a phone call. Reaching out to help another person or be kind to another person lifts your own spirits. Remember when you are angry or hurt..the poison we pour out for our enemies has likely poisoned the pitcher long before it reaches their cup. Don't let that poison near you.
