It is thong time..folks. No time of the year begs for a thong more than fall and winter. Tight jeans, dress slacks or long skirts..what ever you choose to wear..you gotta wear a thong under it..or perhaps go commando. Panty lines are just so not cool.
Commando is not your style you say!! Okay so lets talk thongs. I shopped for thongs yesterday at several different stores. They have some very cute patterns and colors and they are just all so nice. The problem is that the amount of material it takes to make a thong would fit in the palm of your hand, but the prices are outragious. They charge as much as $18.00 for a thong. Hello..it is a sliver of material. I refuse to pay more than $5.00 for a thong (my hubby can spend all he wants on one for me though...ha). I just can not bring myself to pay as much for a thong as I do for a shirt.
I like the new boy shorts panties they have out now..They are cute..and for bedtime or for shorts, or short skirts they will suffice. Face it folks..the boy shorts leave the same panty lines that bikini panties do..cutting your a$$ in half, leaving you to look like you have a group of 4 pigs jumping around on your backside..okay only if you have a big a$$.
Why be concerned about how your a$$ looks in jeans, slacks or long skirts??? you say? What is the point of picking out nice clothes..jeans..nice top (one that accentuates the positive and eliminates the negative), nice shoes..only to have the entire look spoiled by creeping underwear..??? underwear thet cuts you in half??
You style your hair, put on makeup and over all look great..then you spend the day pulling your underwear down..cause we all know it creeps up as you walk.
For this reason alone..the thong was invented..actually I think it was invented for the runway models..though I thought they were basically naked under their clothes. Back to the shopping trip. I looked at lots and I do mean lots of thongs..
Finally ended up buying thongs on the clearance rack of Walmart.. 3 for $4.00...ha They have sets of 3..pink flowers set, blue paisley set, green starburst set..Works for me. I will save the Victoria's Secret thongs for when I might be undressing for some big night with hubby. After all noone knows what kind of thong you have on..or how much it costs for that matter..just that your a$$ sure looks better when it is not cut in half.
One more comment on thongs..If you don't own one....get ya some. It is imperative though that you buy the right size. One that is too small is very uncomfotable.. If in doubt, buy a size larger than you would normally wear in bikini's.
Men..you are so lucky.. Few choices for you..boxer's or briefs
Buy them according to the size of your waist..
You have no idea what women go through in the underwear department. Don't get me started on bras...YUCK!!!
I am still glad to be a woman though. Don't think I would like it any other way. We get to dress up and smell good and look good..It's a pain sometimes..but I enjoy it.

Boy I am glad you threw that clause in there about the boys! I was reading the first part of this thinking, "GOOD GOD does she have any idea what a 6' 2" 220 pound dude would look like in a Thong?" Can anyone say Banana Hammock?

I wear thongs, but I also wear seamless boyshorts or briefs - no panty lines and I find them to be more flattering than a G-strong - at least on me! I love seamless panties.

I love this post. I prefer boy shorts but I have a couple dozen thongs for those outfits where they are necessary.
