America… What has become of it?
I look at America and I am frightened. I am frightened for my children and their children. I look at America (the land of the free and brave). I see the brave… they put their lives on the line for us every day in a war which has gotten way out of hand. It is hard to see the free though. When I was a little girl which was only 10 years ago America was so different. We did not have to see our husbands, friends, children, and loved ones go off to war. Our children were not crying for their daddies and mommies who have been called off to duty. Our parents did not have to wonder if they were raising their children up just to go off and fight for our country. They had no idea. We as mothers and fathers are frightened. Our country is slowly falling into recession as I speak. The stock market is falling and hitting its lowest points in years. When will this war and violence stop? Is Bush really that dumb? It is hard for me to comprehend how a man we put all of our faith into nearly four years ago can just turn his back on all of us and not care about what we think at all. I don't see any of his loved ones off fighting for us. I have two boys and I am terrified that I am just raising them to go off to war. I respect and love every person who has chosen to fight for our country. Thank you! I as a mother though pray to God that I will never have to see my babies on the frontline. I have never been so scared of this great nation. I love America and would never choose to live anywhere else. I think people have forgotten what we stand for though. We stand for freedom, change, family, love, peace, choice, and the thing America is slowly letting go of…God. I think people have forgotten when our founding fathers put America together they did it under God. Without our country under God it will fall apart. What do we worship now? Shoes, friends, clothes? these are a few of the things we put first in America. We for some reason are afraid to say we believe and love God because it is not cool in others eyes. I for one am not afraid. I would let every friend go for God. I am so terrified for my country. I know people who have to let their boyfriends and husbands go off to fight for us for months. I know if it were my husband over there I would be horrified and lonely. Some women don't just say good bye to their husbands when they go off to work… they have to say good bye when they off to war. Can you imagine the pain? I can't even begin to know how bad it must feel to go on for months on end wondering if my children's father or my husband or even fiancé is going to make it through this day. I am saddened by the disappointment this country has brought all of us. We put our faith in a president and look at what he has done to us. He has turned our worlds upside down. I watch the news allot to see about our future president. I don't believe that we have much faith in our government anymore. I would love for us to be able to impeach bush… he is destroying our country and for what? For his father? Maybe. He may be trying to finish the job his father let go in Iraq. I am not sure what kind of person it takes to put all of us on the back burner. I am going to be honest I wanted bush for president in 2004. I wish I could turn back the tables though. I am so disappointed in him. I can only look at America and pray to God he can help us and fix this mess we are in or at least provide us the right presidential candidate to fix this mess. I pray for my children and all of our children. I watch the news and have faith one of the candidates can get us out of this. My thoughts and prayers go out for all of you who have lost your husbands, children, friends, and family overseas. I also pray for the brave people who have chosen to be over there and fight for us every day. Thank you to all of you!

Wait till you see what things will be like when it comes time to actually PAY for this war. Cue up Bette Davis telling us that we're in for a bumpy night...

It is indeed a scary world.....Here in the U.K. we have just had the biggest stock market crash since 9-11 , and the prices of our houses are plummiting , i fear for the children growing up.....Here in the U.K. we have so many kids that are killing kids , its got out of hand i weep at what is to come.....It is indeed not the world that i grew up in!!!.
