You are a very good and descriptive writer, but in regard to our significance before we were born and our destiny after we die, I would prefer to take the Words of Scripture for my guide and consolation. :)

Speaking of my "sphere of influence" I just got the news this morning that we are going to have a new grandson. That makes 13 boys and one girl!!! How can this be. I guess the Mathis name is not going to die out anytime soon! For pictures of the 13 we already have with their parents see...

What a wonderful picture of your Grandma and Grandpa. I am praying for you in your new situation. Perhaps God has a wonderful plan for you as you interact with the other girls in the group home. Nothing is a coincidence in the life of a Christian.

A cat can be very comforting. We have a beautiful one for the first time in our many years of marriage. He got out last week and I knew then that I am more attatched to this animal than I ever thought I would be. He was at the back door at 4 AM and so so cuddely the next day. We really do enjoy...
