| boyfriend and the ex b/f.. |

Kinda funny today. I got a call from my ex boyfriends mom saying that they had some dressers that they were getting rid of. I was soo excited because ever since I moved in with my b/f, I have bee trying to get a hold of a dresser. So I had my b/f drive me over and we went into the house where my ex b/f from three years ago, and his current girlfriend were hanging out. Sandy (his mom) took us through the house to look at dressers and I chose the nicest looking one that came with a mirror. Turns out that it was the dresser in my ex's temporary bedroom. He was totally sharing that room with his gal pal, and I had to help move their stuff. It was wicked awkward but kinda funny. There was no way either my ex or I could be bitter about anything that had happened in the past because we both were leading lives with partners more suited to us. So it was just funny. His new gal his really pretty and she was wearing a short, green, summer dress. She is really pretty and he looked happy and I though the entire thing was oddly poetic in a way. There was an indescribable energy flowing through the house with all of us in it! Now the twist in all this is that my ex just spent some 15 days in our town jail for stealing some stuff last year. (He can sometimes be very stupid) The funny thing is that I am dating an officer and my officer boyfriend spent some of the time at work with my ex behind bars. Sorta funny. And here they were, forced into teamwork to navigate a dresser down a windy staircase..... I was laughing (in my head of course) throughout the entire thing, considering the irony of it all. God bless the small towns in the world....
