 A Tear Stricken Face
she pulls the covers closer
to hida the bruises and hurt in her eyes
shes so sick of his lies

he would come in at night and do things to her
things shes afriad of
things she wants to forget
he would finish and leave
but not before telling her he loved her

she would cry
she would cut
20years on and she still cries and night
about her own father
and how he could break her heart

a dirty old man who has no heart
died 5 years later of a heart attack
how ironic?

it's his fault she cant trust
she covers up a tearstricken face
she still feels empty
hes left this huge space inside her heart

"Forget the trust.
Human nature is just as you described.
People will always hurt us...even when they do not mean to.
Trust yourself Heizo...and go into relationships knowing that we all have the capacity it cause someone pain.
Do not live a lonely life just because you cannot trust.
Maybe that is why it is important to forgive and forget.
We all have been idiots...and hurt someone."

It's true, but that doesn't make it any better. You simply have to move on for your own sake...how hard it is to move on is a challenge with the gods as contestants, and we must acquire the strength of gods to overcome. It's not fair, it's cruel, but alas we must, or we simply curl up in misery.
