So I got a Monroe. I got it last Tuesday and it is already healing very nice. Which is awesome considering my earrings and belly button did heal so well. But yeah back to the Monroe. I have been wanting one since I first seen one. I fell in love with the piercing. Its so elegant and pretty. I am a small person (4’11” and 105 lbs.) so my labret ring is only a 16 gauge. The guy told me that it is usually done with a 14 gauge, at least in the area where I live, so it is smaller then normal ones seen. Which is nice. It makes it a little more unique. I posted it on myspace, but as I knew no one in my family replied. They aren’t into that kind of thing. So they aren’t happy about it. Well I also had to write a body mod confessional to them.
To give you a little insight I also had to tell them about some of our body mods they don’t know about… non are in bad places before you even think that. My husband has 1 piercing and 6 tattoo’s. I have 10 piercings and 1 tattoo. Out of all this they only knew about his tattoo’s. they also only knew of 8 piercings and no tattoo for me. But like I said most are hide-able. Just wear hair down or longer clothing. Nothing to hard.
