I want to believe so badly that there is a god, but I can't. If there is a god, why do so many bad things keep happening to people? I feel trapped in my life and if there was a god, surely there would be a way out of this.

All a person really has is his word and his faith. God isn't hear to serve you. You are hear to serve God. That is our purpose. I have had a troubled life. My own fault. Jail, drugs and I have hurt a lot of people. I felt alone. But when i turned my life over to him and truly served him everything is better. I wake up everyday and ask him to let me do his will. Not mine.

Its not that God causes the trouble
do not blame God
but the others (humans)
who do such horrid things
God sent you here on a mission or a test
to see how you could hadle things
if you would be able to worship him'
or deny him
Its hard to belive somethimes that GOD is real or not but
BY THE WAY GOD IS GOD NOT A HE OR SHE OR A FATHER OR MOTHER BUT EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING
