I'd first like to thank everyone for your kind comments and thoughts. I really do appreciate it.
I thought I'd lighten the mood a bit and talk about one of my passions...Paint Shop Pro. I started playing with this graphics probgram many years ago....well at least 8 or 9 years ago.
I took some online classes and really enjoyed them. Through the classes I met a friend in Wales. He writes tutorials so the two of us put our heads together and decided to start offering our own classes. We were offering them for free and the response was overwhelming. For about 3 years we had at least 600 students per class (we taught beginners, Intermediates and advanced). I ended up with 28 moderators working with the classes plus myself and my partner took care of the website and tutorials.
Whew!! Talk about a learning experience...it's a wonder I'm not bald. We finally decided a year ago that if we were going to put up with all of the abuse we should at least get paid a little for our efforts and to pay for our website. Decided to charge $5.00 per class level and suddenly our classes dropped to zero.
We haven't taught too many sstudents since that time which is alright with me. We both needed a break. Have a small class right now of 5 but they're experienced users just doing them as a refresher.
In spite of all of the problems and the attitudes some people showed (some people took the classes because they had nothing else to do and it was a way to ruffle some feathers), it was indeed an experience. One that I can be proud of and know that I did accomplish something important. We had a lot of disabled people taking classes. My partner and I are both disabled and we worked hard to help and accomodate disabled students.
When someone completed the classes I told them I am legally blind. They couldn't understand how I knew, then, if they were doing the lessons correctly or not. I'll never tell. :)

I cannot believe when I hear these things. All that was going on in the years perhaps I wasted elsewhere. I could have been getting free instruction in Paint Shop Pro:P I wonder if anyone is teaching Quark Express and Photo Shop and--I forget that other class the Graphic Design jobs wanted. And, an online class at that. I am still very uneasy about online schooling. I just don't get how it works. Maybe it pays to have a speedy PC? Which I do not. And, yes it is amazing a legally blind senior can even type a blog much less teach a graphical class. How does THAT work?
