The other day I blogged about a text I had gotten from the ass, which I did not reply to. He then put our 19 year old son up to texting me. Text read as follows, "am I going to get any money this month?" He knew I would not ignore a text from our son. I replied telling him that the attorney told me not to send a check at this time, sorry. Besides that, this was a conversation he and I should not be having. Ending the text with, I love you. No response from son whatsoever. Nice, am I just an ATM?
Last night I get home from work and notice an letter from the doctor's office. Strange, teen daughter and I have not been to the doctor in awhile. I open it to find an invoice dated in April that had first been mailed to the ass. This is for a visit that teen son had with the doctor. On this invoice was a post it note that read, Mr. Ass has instructed us that all future billings should be mailed to you. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Ass.
Excuse me? Teen son was not living with me in April. The invoice is in the ass's name, so let them turn it over to collections. I hate to be a bitch about this whole situation, but come on. As far as I am concerned, there was not a court order in effect for teen son once he moved out of my house. Nothing states I am finiancially responsible for his medical bills. I am sure I look like a bitch to my son, but I am not going to stand down to be bullied by the ass. I have already told teen son if I have to take a step back from you until you move out of your dad's house (so that he not put in the middle of all this crap), as much as it would hurt me, I would do it.
On another note, teen daughter's therapist called me into her office last night to discuss teen daughter's aggravation with her father for constantly taking me to court. She asked me what the case was about, who the attornies were, etc. Turns out, she has gone against ass's attorney more then once in court. Says his attorney has stated in court that she has respect for this therapist. (that's good)! Also, she tells me that his attorney sends clients/patients to her on occasion. Tells me this case should be a drop in the bucket for me. I wish I could believe that. I'm really tired of losing sleep wondering how this is going to turn out. She offered to go to court for us, if needed, because ass is part of the reason why teen daugher needs ongoing therapy.
Teen daughter's therapist has decided she wants to visit with teen daugher on a weekly basis. So, after paying (4) copays each month and purchasing teen daughter's meds each month, that leaves $0.00 left over from the child support her ass pays towards her. That's right, not even a penny. And he wants me to pay child support on a 19 year old kid that does not work, not to mention teen's sons medical bills when he doesn't even live with me. Let's not forget, I now have a toddler that I have to pay childcare towards, which was not factored into our last round in court. Hmmmmm

Hang tough, as you have told me, things will get better and change for the best. Keep god and love in your heart and do not worry about your ex and just be the best person that you can be.
