| A perfect day |
So there I was this weekend (My weekend- starting Friday to be exact), and I enjoyed every moment of my day. From the time I woke up (8 am), I was ready to go to my first day of our new Women's bible study. I'm psyched about it because it's on the book "Heart Trouble" by Barbara Bush (NOT the first lady, either). I spent much needed fellowship with two of my great friends in the Lord and had the priviledge of bringing breakfast. We introduced the book, strategized for our reading and meeting times, and went home.
I met my husband back home for lunch, did some much-needed laundry, listened to some great Jesus music, baked 5 loaves of banana bread, updated my web profiles, e-mailed some friends back, started my new bible study, all in the company of watching from my back door a most relaxing rainstorm outside. My husband came home, sat on the couch and played some computer games on my laptop while I finished my bible study lesson. Then we left to deliver some banana bread and spontaneously went to dinner with his mom. (His dad and uncle went on a treasure hunt/camping trip with their metal detectors, so she was by herself for the evening.)
THIS is the kind of things I like to talk about and tell everyone. This is what I considered a perfect day for me. Call me plain, call me simple, but don't call me bored in the Lord. What kind of things do you like to do? What would be your perfect day?
