It makes sense to me that I should prewrite the values I want to live by, and show them to as many people as can so that I can be held accountable to them. These are my personal creeds... I don't ask you to pick them up yourself unless you want to, but if you know me help me be accountable.
If you do what everybody else is doing, you will end up in the same place that everyone else is going. Make sure that is somewhere you want to be. If not, change course.
All authority comes from dependence. When you don't want someone else to have authority over you, take care of your needs yourself. When someone else's work is providing for you it is only proper to respect their wishes up to the degree that they provide.
The less dependent we are on money, government, and big business, the better off we will be.
People are stronger when united.
If one cannot serve than one cannot lead. These two are not opposites but one and the same.
Rule by respect is superior to rule by fear. When someone fears you they want to see you fall. When someone respects you they want to see you rise, and as a result will not be afraid to tell you if they think you are about to make a bad mistake.
Putting shadows under the bed only makes them bigger. If you have something to talk about you might as well get it out.
You cannot be forced to do anything without your consent.
When times are darkest is when we need hope the most.
Unlike the usual types of annoying people politicians do not go away when you ignore them... instead they take advantage of your not paying attention and make things much worse.
All pain can be tied to a lie of one kind or another. This being said not all pain is bad... sometimes the pain is the result of routing out a lie that needed to go in order for you to grow.
So long as one has hope it is impossible to be truly defeated.
Do what you believe is right. You're the one who has to live with it.
Today is an oppurtunity.
Laziness is a thief.
Fear makes a shotty lifestyle.
Whatever you surround yourself with, becomes a part of you.
Do not disagree with someone until you know why. Do not agree with someone until you know why. If you're not sure just listen. If need be, do more research independently.
One who cannot even take care of themselves cannot take care of someone else. Similarly a broken shield is useless, and a shield that breaks after only one hit is not much better.
When asking for advice, make sure to ask someone with success in the area that you're asking about.
People are not your enemy. False ideas are.
Physical war is a great tragedy.
Sense is hardly common, remind yourself of this before getting angry at the idiot who doesn't know how to drive.
It is not every one else's fault if you are in a huff.
For every weakness we have, their is an equal and opposite strength to balance it. Remember this when talking to people with different weaknesses than yours... they also have different strengths that you can learn from.
We are young and dumb till the day we die,and if we ever forget it we're askin' for trouble.
Within every person is infinite potential. This can go both positively and negatively.
We are all connected, and to hurt another is to hurt part of yourself.
Whatever you choose to do, commit to yourself to do it with excellence.
