what is the book of revelations really about, in the bible, some say its scary, some say its deep. Ive never read it before and before I do, I want to know what i am about to put in my head. But i guess since its in the bible it has some meaning to it and it cant be that bad.

Read it before you allow anyone else to sway you on it. If you talk to them first, you will read it through the filter of their influence and take away all meaning it could have given you.
Read it first, then seek opinions and insights, and see how they fit with your own.
