Long ago and far away, a young lady by the name of Rajah1116 threw down a Challenge to her fellow bloggers.  If you'd like to see where it all began, click here.  The idea was then taken up by a masked man going by the name of ScribblesOnTheWall, who presented us with several wonderful and thought-provoking Challenges, but has, alas, left our hallowed halls (maybe).  After that, the gaunlet was plucked from the dust and carried on its way by the ScribblesChallenge you see before you today.

Fifty Challenges have been made and met.  We have discovered a plethora of writing talent in this wonderful placed called Thoughts.com!  Folks from all over the planet have ponied up and played with us.  And we love them all! 

We've tried to provide a fun new Challenge each week (with only a few hiccups along the way) for the writers of Thoughts, and each week more and more of you show us your stuff.  And what stuff it is!  Given only a word, a line, a title, or a picture, we've seen poets, story-tellers, ranters, and essayists create astonishing things from our simple prompts.  We ALWAYS open our arms to newcomers to the Challenges.  So, if you've never tried one, don't be shy!
