do people realy believe in adam and eve and why did they pick the name adam and eve,they are really not that biblical a name to be honest ,i mean adam and eve ,i think people are easily mislead ,as i really blieve in evolution and change ,which incidently we do on a constant basis ,so people that do believ in adan and eve do not believe in change at all ,your body is in a constant state of change ,what does that tell you if you are lisk goerge bush and do not believ in evolution (change ) then you are leading a very bizarre existence |

I do believe in the Biblical account of Adam and Eve. Adam means "mankind" or "earth" and Eve means "living" or "mother of the living." Evolution basically is a theory that supports the "belief" that man is the results of a purposeless and natural occurence that can be traced back to the Big Bang theory which basically is a "belief" that as a result of a cosmo calamity --the human race emerges through a series of changes (to put it in a nutshell).
The bottom line is what "doctrine of faith" does one adopts and adhere to because this is not a fact but a theory and takes a step of faith to embrace these ideas that claims mankind came to be through a blast of purposeless nothingness and Lo, and behold-- perfect formed human being emerges on a planet that seems to be founded on purpose by accident?
I find this hard to believe that perfect and fine mechanism called life that functions on a capacity like an eloborate advance computer system came as a result of cosmo bang of disorder. It takes more faith to believe the evolution account than for me to believe the biblical account of life. We tend to recognize that computers does not come forth from a mass of debris and by accident but we have no problem attributing the manufacturing of such artificial intelligence to a human source of architect but yet when it come to the human species we believe that it just so happened? I can not see how order can result out of disorder. Maybe, it is just me!!

Religion is man-made, but a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ is what is important.
Only Jesus can make us into a "new creation." (Please read 2 Corinthians 13:5, Colossians 1:27, and John, chapter 3 in the Bible)
