my friends wife has just had an abortion ,her parents ahve been all mad and stuff and the in laws have gave thema hard time ,but they feel they cannot afford the life the child deserved and they had to come to a decision to have the abortion .
thay are both sixteen and yes they are all legal in the sense of parental care and stuff but my friend believes the child would only have ruined their lives and not got the same love as if it was when they were more mature
i myself personally think they did the right thing ,one gets carried away in the heat of the moment and mistakes are made .
maybe my friend will regret it one day but right now they feel they made the right decision ,i know there are lots of anti abortion people saying its murder ,but is it really ,the fetus cannot decide,and how many parents have children and do not treaqt them right ,
well the thing is the two of them are still together and practicing more carefull ......

I am pro-choice but of course I don't believe in abortion as birth control. I understand it is the right decision for some, it wasn't for me...but I get the idea that it is what is best for the couple in question.
Good luck to you all and happy to hear that you are being more careful.

the problem i have with abortion is that it becomes a quick fix for being irresponsible. unless you grew up on the blue lagoon, you know where babies come from--especially in this day and age! i knew a girl who had 4 and finally let the fifth pregnancy go! the little girl is beautiful and now the only part of her father that's left in this world.

They're the ones who have to live with that choice. If they aren't constantly tortured by the choice they made, it's not anybody else's place to berate them for it.

I never really thought about it because where I live it is illegal. I thought having an abortion was terminating when it was still in cell division, so I was pro-choice. A few weeks ago I searched it on Youtube thinking I'd get videos showing people giving their opinions on it because I wanted to here more about it. Instead I got horrific videos about it that were so aweful I had to turn it off. Then I learned that you can get an abortion in the 3rd trimester!! Since then I am completely against it.
Having a baby will not ruin their lives. Babies are a blessing. They could have given it up for adoption, there are many couples that are willing to raise them that can't have their own.
